The Republicans did great in opposition because they could constantly complain and blame everything on the Democrats, black people, gay people, etc but that’s increasingly difficult when they control the executive, legislature, and judiciary.
For these reasons, I hope that the only way for most people to turn now would be left. But America is an insane country, so who knows.

They will want some specific policy passed and so, some crazy sounding natative needs to be whipped up and pushed to the masses. It makes no sense to most observers who only see part of the picture, but it you reall follow the money and the influence it all makes sense.
