Much has been written about AI butchering our favorite movies, but how is it affecting the U.S. healthcare system? Well, it’s a polarizing and controversial subject, and this storyline in “The Pitt” season 2 reflects what’s happening in some real-world medical institutions.

Once they showed the error the AI made I can already figure out the story for this season.

The new young smart doctor that is amazed by AI transcription will become too comfortable with how accurate it is will then make the mistake of not confirming patient meds and then there will be a drug interaction and patient dies. I bet it’s the handicap lady they tested the AI out on.

    Or

Lady filling in for Robbie (that made the point to say she’s never been sued) will then use the AI and someone dies and then she gets sued.

I hope that someone eventually points out that the reason this doctor has never been sued was probably because she worked in the VA with vets who were terrified of suing the VA and losing their benefits.
