fwiw on lemmy in Settings I turn off “Show NSFW Content” and “Show Bot Accounts” and that improves things dramatically.
I did the NSFW thing, but not bot accounts because some communities use them to copy content from elsewhere (among other reasons). Maybe I’ll give it a try anyway, tho - thx!
