They will do all sorts of shit, put out all sorts of spam to rank one spot higher in the results. They expend insane amounts of effort trying to figure out how to trick search engines into ranking their stuff higher, into finding weaknesses in the algorithms. They’re absolutely NOT innocent players of the game.
