True, although you’d start the t from the edge of the vertical line of the w rather than the ground line. I actually couldn’t see the confusion until you pointed this out

Fwiw I know a lot of my personal cursive quirks I have picked up from online script fonts. You could try looking through sites like 1001fonts, filtering by script font, and seeing if you notice any details that make letters unique that also seem doable with wire.

I learned well over 30 years ago, but after looking through a few sets this site matches the lettering I was taught.
Mind you, I don’t think many people will recognize that Q for what it is anymore, my name includes a capital Q and I always write it in block and start the cursive from the squiggle. (I was taught the Q as it is in that practice set though)

I agree that it’s readable as Courtney. I don’t think this would necessarily be easy, but you could try pinching the left side of the R like this:

Holy crap. I did not know that about Tim. That fucking sucks, As I Lay Dying has been one of my favorite bands since I was a teenager

There are plenty of recent pictures of her at Mar-a-lago. She’s not just a supporter, she’s someone that has been to his parties
By the time this comic was published (12/19/1937), it was being distributed in thousands of newspapers. The original artist died the next year. It’s possible this is from a book with a collection of Thimble Theater comics, the company that holds the copyright has made a few since then

Fwiw I don’t see this comic on there but I found something else while looking:

Conservative political action conference
Orban was a guest speaker a couple years ago in the US. Seems like he founded the cpac in Hungary afterwards
I’m pretty sure that is a redbud tree, not cherry

I don’t disagree. I just find it interesting how strongly the media jumped on their connection but there may be another reason for the professor’s death

It’s interesting that Nuno Loureiro is part of this list. I thought the articles that came out after his death said the (now dead) man who killed him once worked with him. So it seemed personal and not conspiracy-related
I really love this one. You are so good at painting skin, the range and depth of colors is phenomenal. The background is amazing too

I asked my VA therapist about this today, and she said this directive has already been rescinded following provider feedback.

I’m 100% service connected.
But yeah, they did lose it. I have emails from opm and the va just three years ago telling me they couldn’t find it. I don’t know where my peer found it, but I’m lucky she did. That was half the point of my comment above

I got out in 2006, that fire happened in 1973

To add to this, get in touch with your local VA peer support. They aren’t in every city but if you have a regional center they will have at least one peer support. They have the connections to help you get whatever records you need. The military “lost” my dd214 and the only reason I have it now is because of an incredibly persistent peer.
They are also great shoulders to lean on through the process, because it sucks. You will be made to feel like you are less than others for your service connected disability, and sometimes you may question whether you have one at all because of it.
Hang in there!

Nah. Celine is Canadian. Rihanna is from Barbados, and that’s still where she spends a lot of her time.
Madonna is American but lives in the UK now and has for decades
I’m a Navy veteran with service connected PTSD. People question if I have PTSD sometimes and it does indeed piss me off, but I’m not out here claiming to have been blown up while serving. People are starting to become aware that PTSD doesn’t always stem from combat, and that awareness will help more people going forward. Mine comes from being attacked and raped by my shipmates, I didn’t expect to survive it.
I don’t feel disgust that USA Today asked him about his service, instead I wonder why he didn’t have a better response. He could have offered education about PTSD or said he wanted to increase transparency around disability ratings in the VA, or any number of things.
