There is a very specific reason that ICE agents and other collaborators strive to hide their identities.
They would not feel the need to do so if they believed, deep down where it counts, that they were on the right side of history, and that the regime will last indefinitely.

While I share your pessimism, I also know that some of these dudes are just scared to lose their job. I’m not saying that they are innocent just that they are in the same boat we all are with our jobs. If I got fired I’d be bankrupt in a month if not less. You see very bad things, and recognize that there is no way for this apparatus to go away quietly, given the lengths that they’ve gone through to keep outside eyes away from their concentration camps.
