I really don’t understand these kinds of posts showing how much a stock dropped when it’s still much higher than 12 months ago.

Earlier this year people kept posting how Tesla stock is crashing, but it has always been a lot higher than 12 months prior.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d love tesla to tank, but let’s not celibrate it crashing when it clearly isn’t

Every US index is way up over the last 12 months. I don’t understand the market’s valuation of the few big players that are propping up the market but this recent correction isn’t anomalous. Obviously I have money in the markets so I wrote this defensive comment because I’m actually worried 😬

I’m feeling really prescient because I finally decided to sell most of my NVIDIA and gaming sector stock literally on Tuesday.

Though it turns out even today’s correction just brings us back to where we were earlier in the week, for the most part. We’ll see how things go Monday…

Guess what’s had a waaaaaay better return that the DJIA, over the last 12 months?

Oh, its gold, because a large chunk of the DJIA’s rise … has coincided with drops in the DXY, ie, the dollar is dying, and smart money is piling into gold so that it can later be deployed in… whatever global trade/monetary paradigm shakes out when this nonsense is over.

Oops, just about a 40% drop in DJI in the last 12 months, vs gold, nbd, everything’s fine.

Not like we got much of a choice. Everyone in a grownup job with a 401k and an employer match…hard to pass up free money, even if you can’t touch it till you’re 67 or whatever.

And your side is taken out pre-tax, so it’s “worth more going in” than it would be in your paycheck.

Same, lol, fuck em, fuck your 401k, hope your homes get foreclosed on, hope you retire alone either homeless or in an understaffed old folks home.

This is the morally correct reward for chasing wealth accumulation at the cost of impoverishing the masses, of willingly participating in that evil system for personal profit.

Call it a karmic market correction.

The top 10% of people own 93% of stocks.

Fuck em, enjoy burning down your own house, morons.

Have the day you financially planned for.

The bottom 99% will absolutely feel the fallout of that 10% losing everything.

That 10% runs our lives. They hold the titles on our homes and cars. They sign our paychecks. They fill the grocery store. They run the militia police.

They may have the most stock, but they will absolutely drag the rest of us down with them, shove us underneath, and use us for a pillow so they get a nice safe landing and the absolute lowest of us get a gruesome death of suffocation and trampling by our own friends and neighbors.

        Not looking fun.

The poor always get fucked, slowly or quickly, softly or vigorously.

We are now beyond the point of an economic collapse being avoidable or probably even mitigable.

So let the rich maybe actually directly suffer, let the petite bourgeoisie realize they didn’t make the cut, didn’t make it into the club, and let the poor realize its do or die time, and also realize they don’t have to be the only ones who die.

They’ll get a soft landing. But they’ll still be on top while us remaining crabs fight each other to join them.
