    Have barely touched it since the API controversy. I can only see it declining as time goes on.

      it was pretty much 50% bots around the time API disaster occured. after the great purges this year, it just accelerated the bots having to shore up the actual user numbers. since reddit realized they were purging too much, and unwilling to unban people, they switched to background purges.
