A bombshell new report from CBS News suggests that the Iranian Government has murdered between 12,000 and 20,000 protesters since the ongoing, national revolt against it began.

“Information trickling out of Iran on Tuesday suggests that a crackdown by authorities to end more than two weeks of widespread anti-government protests has likely been far more deadly than activists outside the country have reported,”

I’m convinced that many of the people calling for violence from the left in response to the administration’s behavior are the same ones that pushed the right into extremism over the past 30 years.

Division and chaos are the intent and they’re playing both sides to achieve their goals. The last thing they want is for people to sit down and talk to each other.

Oh yes, blame the rise of fascism on the people whose sole goal it is to stop fascism. Real genius here.

If someone punches you and says shut up or Im gonna punch you even harder, the correct response is not to shut up.

Doesnt really matter who exactly is meant. They are saying theres a group of people who ‘pushed’ the right to extremism. Thats just bullshit. This was the goal from the start and its noone but them pushing it with lies and hate.

Conservatives are not predisposed to end as extremists.

That’s like saying Jews pushed Nazis to commit the Holocaust, or Palestinians pushed Israel to commit the Gaza genocide (Americans do say that…).

              Listen to yourself.

They sure as hell always end up in the extremes no matter where they pretend to begin.

Not all conservatives are extremists, but those who are were very much predisposed imo. And even if none of them were, they dont end up extremists by being pushed by the left. Sure some of them might use that as an excuse or even believe it themselves.

No one on the left has anything to do with the violence that’s a core tenant of fascism and capitalism or corpratism if you want to get real specific. No one is egging the proud boys on, anymore than black folks existing was the cause of KKK bombings and terrorist attacks. These people aren’t responding to anything, this has always been their goal.

Do you believe you have good reasons for thinking so?

I would be interested in seeing you lay out what convinced you. It seems to me that the only thing these calls for violence have in common is just that: they are calls to violence. How can you possibly draw any parallels beyond that without completely minimizing how unprecedented a situation it is we find ourselves in?
