    Well, in the US at least, there are more trees now than when the settlers landed at Plymouth Rock. I don’t think the toilet paper industry is killing the planet.

        Oh the natural forests on this continent are in awful shape, but it’s only partly because of logging. The current major problem is invasive species and diseases. The American chestnut is a particularly bad victim of this.
