Morality and legislation used to be entirely justified by being the word of God. Not that long ago (enlightenment) we started making those decisions based on what we think is a good idea. That’s basically what Nietzsche was talking about when saying “good is dead”, he didn’t mean that literally…
That doesn’t make any sense. Morality is not something that was given by Gods, but something we have invented.
