There are lots of apps that use various APIs to display lyrics on playing songs. I haven’t seen an app that will automatically embed missing lyrics in an entire library. It can’t be that hard, right?

LRClib. They have an official GUI app that downloads a sidecar with plain or synced lyrics depending on availability an settings. For it to work reliably, you need to tag your library reasonably well with something like Picard. And your music client obviously need to support lrc-files.
If you’re OK with the CLI: Beets is a command line music library management tool that can search for lyrics: https://beets.readthedocs.io/en/stable/plugins/lyrics.html
I haven’t tried this yet but looks promising.
