    Rolled a Bernie on my d20 politics check…

    DM: “The DNC busts down the door to the tavern, they demand an immediate donation but they promise they won’t listen. They steal your sword and replace it with sternly written letters”

    Player: “But I rolled a Bernie?”

    DM: “Yeah, the DNC hates that guy. Rolling one incites their wrath. They can find you in the deepest dungeon across the vastest oceans. They’re basically the nazgul and it’s like you’ve just put on the one ring…”
