I picked up a piece of diamond plate from the middle of the road in highschool once, it was a weird shape and it caught my eye, a triangle shape like a ships sail. Trapezoidal.
years later my vehicle was broken into by breaking a small side window, and in that moment I realized I had a piece of scrap diamond plate the exact shape and size of that window.
I used industrial epoxy to glue it in place over the remnants of the glass and left it like that for a decade (the window was basically ornamental anyway, useless for visibility).

A trapezoid has four sides. Which is it, trapezoid or triangle?
Sorry for being a pedant, I just can’t focus on anything else with statements like this.
A trapezoid is just a triangle with one corner cut off. I can see a shape being described as both.
this cracked me up 🤣
bothish. the hole was a trapezoid, the visible window part was a triangle. Apparently called a quarter glass
