On the current trajectory, our kids full of Cesium 137.
Mercury was badass. The slow, seeping madness taking hold of you like a gentle breeze grabbing the breadth of a kite. Invisibly, rapidly hoisting you higher until it suddenly, sinisterly relinquishes its grip. The drop leaves you tattered and indignant, but seemingly mendable.
And so it tenderly brushes the dust off to repeat the process until you’re nothing but caterwauling splinters cast across the ground.
Is this from something or do you just wander through life dropping awesome prose like this?
I like writing short stories for fun, and sometimes I write what comes to me on Lemmy. Though lemmy rarely cares for it, outside of [email protected]. Thank you for the kind praise!
Man, that’s poetry right there
This is splendid. Your words match the quality of dialogues from Disco Elysium. It must’ve feel like a true talent being able to conjure sentences with such vividness for any topic you encounter.
I feel like I could read shitposts like this for hours.

Here are two that I enjoyed writing. Though they’re a bit more grim and severely benefit from reading the original post as well. I just wish I could link without it going to my instance. Bleh
Your works are nothing short of wonder. I would describe this not as another genre of memes, but a whole another dimension of shitposting only a few are able to observe and appreciate. You wield opportunities as countless as memes themselves and possess a remarkable sense of humour and talent to compose prose that introduce a entirely new perspective for the viewers. You are a living rendition of what a 19th century novelist would be were they given access to the modern day internet.
To have a priceless person as you on the fediverse is a blessing. For me to have witnessed your art is even more so.
That’s very sweet. And probably a little too generous. Thank you!
I want to make a joke about your username as it would fit the second statement you made, but I lack your creativity and also don’t want to diminish legitimate praise.
That’s also sweet. I know I’d have had a difficult time controlling myself at different points. Thank you for maintaining the positivity
Of course. The only time I intentionally / knowingly say something to hurt people is when I’m very certain they will benefit from hearing it (“you have this flaw and it’s hurting you, so hearing this input hopefully helps you improve your lot”).
I don’t do that often at all because I’m bad at a lot of things, including some at which I’m good, so I’m rarely confident enough about stuff to criticize someone else.
I suppose technically I also might offer hurtful feedback if my honest opinion were to be solicited about something bad.
Your prose was good - I even made a user note about you to remind me next time we interact - but even if it were awful I can’t see how me being a dick about it would help you. I do like your username, though.
Sorry for the narcissistic WOT. I hope you have a great day!
Wowweee
The Romans knew how bad asbestos was.
But not lead…
I’m just amazed that we knew asbestos was bad for over a 1000 years, and in the USA only banned it a few years ago, other countries not much longer before.
They did know that lead was toxic.
Then they didn’t much care I guess. Which was worse than not knowing.
My wild guess is that the next step will be the coating of ceramics. Basically every plate that you have eaten of transfers microscopic amounts of some substance which has previously gone undiscovered but has terrible consequences for the human body.
Wild guess, no knowledge to back up anything.

Your child full of PFAS
Your grandchild full of PFAS
Your great grandchild full of PFAS
Your great great grandchild…
tbf the child will also be full of microplastics, since they found out there are microplastics in the sperm
I work in a plastic molding factory, guess I’m getting extra 🫠
Microplastic Georg over here
Oh, I know I know! Is it mold? Oh wait, no… Or… Hmm…
I’d say lead lingered longer than asbostos though.
I don’t know what you read, but I just learned that racoons are showing early signs of domestication.

Lol, the secret is to read everything to a mentally unstable level.
Take your meds
Thanks but I prefer not to get my news from one source, for example the micro-plastics found in our bodies suffered from methodological flaws suggesting false positives, pyrolysis gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (The technique commonly used to detect microplastics) can produce the same chemical signatures from fats in human tissue as it does from plastics like polyethylene
187 studies have been formally challenged. *18 used the same flawed methodologyEdit:
