The best bit to me is both Brazil and Israel have had these “nah, it was rigged!” bullshit meltdowns, so when Trump does it next week hopefully everyone will be bullshitted out and not give him the time.

I work with a brazillian guy named Flavio and he says he feels like he’s being cyberbullied in multiple languages (he speaks 4 and gets memes in all 4 in his social media feed saying Flavio is a fucking moron)

    Love some good news.

If the Bolsonaro family love the US so much they better do they politics there instead of our nation.

These fuckers don’t deserve Brazilian citizenship.

Walk around calling yourself the rightful president of Brazil in spite of the outcome of the election and yeah, you’ll get mocked.

Don’t be a criminal, authoritarian grifter, but be best and no issues to run from. It’s always self-caused problems with these guys, and same pattern of controlling people blame minorities and enrich the wealthy more. Do better and stop electing authoritarian criminals.

I just wonder how the voters feel about this. I couldn’t imagine voting for someone only to have them immediately skip the country because they lost. What a great show of strength and power. 🙄

I do realize I may be allocating too much introspection to the majority of voters of Bolsonaro.

I’m sure they had the talking points ready to go, right wing misinformation machine will explain it away and his radicalized voters will accept it without question.

His dad also lost and fled to Florida. The people who vote for those guys are convinced that they’re escaping political purge and repression and all that stuff, they pretend that the left is doing a tyranny so their side is right to go in exile for safety. Ignoring the part where he’s being arrested for all the fraud they commit, they claim it’s a false pretense. You know, classic projection, because that’s what they want to do when they win.

One day he’s vowing to stay and fight the bogus charges against him…the next day he’s sneaking out the back and running for the nearest private jet headed for anywhere but here.

Hours after his arrival in Florida, he posted a statement on social media declaring himself the “true president” of Brazil, before revising the wording a few minutes later to describe himself as the “leader” of the country.

A Bolsonaro ally who published an earlier version of the statement bearing Brazil’s old coat of arms, abandoned in the sixties, said it had been a ChatGPT error.

    No words.
