Honestly, I would thank the guy. Even blitzed out of his gourd he thought it was the right thing to do to risk his life to try and save my dog. Sounds like a stand up human being who just needs to learn how to measure his dosage amounts better. Too much buddy, but thanks for looking out.

I actually had to see for myself if this was for real, and apparently he drove his car through his neighbor’s fence in order to access (and subsequently destroy) the back door. I’m not sure how I’d feel about that on a random Tuesday lol.

But he was also charged with burglary on top of other things and I kinda feel that it’d be impossible to show he had any criminal intent, given that he was tripping balls to the point of hallucinating a fire

Well that much property damage and I’d be pretty pissed in the moment as well. Hard to say for sure, still If he honestly thought my dog was going to die and did all that, then it still shows that deep down they are a good person regardless if their actions turned out to be a mess.

I’m not even sure I’d be mad actually. I mean, I’d want the guy to pay for it, but assuming he’s just high as balls and not an actual psycho I’d give him a chance to fix his fuckup.

Like. Having a friend like this ensures that you will always have really good stories assuming you can maintain healthy boundaries.

yyyyyyyyes, but also it’s not like he “was driving”… he used a car to break through their fence in order to “save” the dog: he didn’t get in the car to go for a drive and accidentally ram it through the house

that’s not to say it’s okay, but they’re very different things. context and intent are important

Yeah I’m in a similar spot, I’d be pissed, but honestly, that wouldn’t be too bad of a repair cost. Exterior doors are like $200-400 for the builder grade ones it almost definitely was, and the fence would be similar cost. If it were me I’d want to drop the charges and just settle for a check for the repair cost and a good apology for going too hard on the acid

Since drugs tend to remove a person’s inhibitions, if someone cares about other people and creatures enough to risk their own life while tripping the light fantastic, that’s a good person right there.

Usually cough syrup is what you do if you can’t get acid. I have trouble believing he decided to do both

Easy enough, guy was tryna line up the good stuff, it fell through, and he was like “well I’m not just gonna sit here and experience reality - cough syrup it is”.

Then later the acid came through after all, and he was like “well, it’s important to follow through on commitments”.

      Could happen to anybody, really.

The dissasociative effect of the DXM actually makes this kinda rare imo. For me the experience felt almost as magical as my first time doing psychedelics.

LSDex was easily the most intense trip I ever had, but definitely started to dip into delusional territory. 10/10 won’t do it again.

At the height of my stupidity, I once took a combo of LSD, DXM, and DPH - one I called “the trifecta” due to containing every class of hallucinogen (psych, dissociative, and deliriant). Unsurprisingly I remember very little from the night, and what I do recall is unpleasant however I was so out of it that no discomfort actually registered. 0/10 surprised I lived to regret it.

Don’t do drugs, but if you are going to do drugs then don’t be a fucking idiot like I was

Holy shit dude LSD and DPH is called nightmare flipping for a reason. I did datura at the height of my stupidity though so I cannot judge.

My LSDXM experience was absolutely delusional but I kept the doses low enough that it was definitely managable.

Datura is fucking wild, glad you still got your psyche intact.

I did a lot of counter flipping in the day and it’s a miracle I’m not a vegetable or impaired at the least. Apparently I was one of the few who “enjoyed” (really stretching that term) DPH and the DXM made it more bearable.

Glad to have that part of my life well behind me. Absolute devil substance.

The way they superimpose that photo over the B-roll with wildly different color palette makes it look like a low-effort meme.
