    This is P R O P A G A N D A.

Owner of a website either handpicks or creates messages that fit their narrative. But “it’s twitter” so it has to be voices of random people representing what they are thinking right?

I might be a bit too socialist, but I think that’s the ideal. We should strive to elevate the worst off among us and that should be a cornerstone of modern society.

Kind of feel like we’re failing until we get to the point where we can’t tell who the bottom 10% is. It’s almost the same concept as “No One is Free until we are all Free”.

I remember an old BBC show. Aristocratic woman tells a Socialist that she hates Socialism because it wants to destroy everything that’s first class. He tells her that he wants to get rid of everything that’s third class.

The problem is if you eliminate the lower class you also destroy the upper ones. Wait that’s not a problem. Never mind.

      hug

…I just wanted to hug me. But I can’t hug me, because I only have 1 body, and I’m currently occuping my own body.

So I hugged you, because you sound like me, and thats close enough.

Ok, now help me get out of MY body, and into the body of a 3,000 foot tall metalic robot godzilla creature that can spit flames!

What? I think that would be really cool. Just spitting flames in the air. Roaring like a badass! I’M A MOTHA FUCKIN T-REX!!!

I’m ok with there being some amount of wealth disparity, but nothing even close to like homeless vs. owns a yacht with a helipad. But before it’s ok to have moderate wealth disparity we have to first meet the basic needs of all people including healthy and comfortable food, water, sanitation, housing, and healthcare.

I think I would actually be scared of what a brave little hitatchi wand does to musk to make him accept others.

Like…what is it doing to him that makes him reevaluate his whole world outlook???

No, you have to see it from his point:

He clearly is not the problem. So other people have to be the problem. Other people are poor(er). Poor people are the problem.

It’s really telling that he has so much money that he can do pretty much whatever he wants for the rest of his life, and he chooses to publicly shit on the poorest people in the world.

Like, he could alternatively choose to say nothing, and just quietly ruin everything behind the scenes while impregnating as many women as he is capable of, but that doesn’t work for him.

That’s just rich people on the left, a billionaire is seriously something way more (depressing), and those with 2, 8, 15 billions are IMO mentally ill, for those needing even more … We need a new word for how ill they are.

It’s not reasonably possible to own the stuff on the left without being a billionaire. All of that would cost hundreds of millions.

Right…what he’s saying is that’s not a great measure of BILLIONAIRES if it only costs MILLIONS.

It’s underselling how big the gap really is.

I’m not underselling anything. I believe a quick napkin calculation will show that it’s roughly in the right ballpark.

            Total: 741 million USD

Most billionaires keep most of their wealth in actual investments (stock, bonds, Caymanian bank accounts, swimming pools filled with gold coins). Though this information is not public, let us assume that only 10% of their wealth is contained within these “lifestyle” objects, which is likely an overestimation. This would give us a total of 7.4 billion USD

Given the actual average wealth of a billionaire to be 5.3 billion USD (reference), I maintain the objects I have described accurately describe what a typical billionaire would be able to afford (if not slightly more than they could afford, actually).

Holy shit what an idiot. Imagine actually believing that poor people are the problem. Everyone with that belief should be forced to live together on an island so we could watch their lives fall to pieces without poor people to take advantage and steal from.

Do people like that hear themselves when they speak? Do they see the words they write?

Are they living in the same planet? I mean, how can you have such warped views of the world?

    Fuck the 1%, ban millionaires

We need hard caps on personal ney Worth. Any income over a networth of 1 million should go 100% to taxes until you’re worth less again. There is no right to having and hoarding more than that. You don’t need more than that.

You don’t need more than that.

Counterpoint: Homes in many places cost more than that. Retirement too. There’s a good cutoff for a wealth maximum, but 1 million ain’t it.

Most folks don’t even have a problem with the top 1 percent other than thinking they need to be taxed. It’s an much smaller fraction than 1 in 100 that are the real exploiters. Thinking that 1 in 10 of the people you meet are subhumans is certainly the essence of conservativism though.
