The visit to Bangkok was one of many trips Andrew took at British taxpayers’ expense when he was serving as an official trade envoy for the UK in the early 2000s.

I feel like maybe the British public should rely on the British civil service to negotiate their trade arrangements, rather than the royal family.

While it doesn’t surprise me in the slightest that Andrew would want to do this but it does surprise me that his handlers allowed him to do it so brazenly.

Even not-particularly-wealthy people can go to a resort / brothel in South East Asia and see 40 prostitutes in a few days if that’s their desire. Everyone involved would very happily turn a blind eye.

However, doing it on a state visit is essentially the production and provision of kompromat.

It’s interesting that the bangkok post has chosen to publish this now.

Thailand has strict Lèse-majesté laws prohibiting any negative commentary about royalty. I wonder if that applied to foreign royalty and if so, whether it no longer applies now that Andy is no longer a “Prince”.

Ah, no… the King has very publicly stripped him of his title and evicted him from the royal property in which he resided.

Source? Because I’ve heard this repeated a lot, but where’s the ceremony? Where’s the paperwork? When did the title actually get stripped?

It’s kinda like declassifying documents, you can’t just do it in your mind. It requires some bureaucracy, and as far as I understand Parliament needs to get involved for this one

Why would the BBC report it if its not true?

              Umm…

Leaving that aside, I guess the crown has now made statements saying they intend to actually move forward with actually stripping the titles and apparently sent a letter asking him to move out

Maybe they planned this all along, but when the story initially broke that was not part of it. I would not at all be surprised if this was calculated based on public response to a tentative announcement

As for why I’m skeptical… This is like, the incest family. I’m entirely unwilling to believe this is anything other than political calculus

He’s still in the line of succession for the throne. Changing that would require an act of parliament, which I assume will happen soon. But until then, even if he’s no longer called Prince, being in line for the throne is kind of what makes a prince/princess.

Say what you want about the man, but he’s got stamina. There’s hardcore gooners who wouldn’t manage 10 waifus a day, 4 days in a row.

one time i went to a strip club in my 20s, and i always thought it was a “no touching” thing. this girl put a rag on my lap and said i could touch her where ever and it was one of the most awkward experiences in my life.

it’s safe to say i never went back to a strip club after that.

Been to plenty and can’t see that flying for 2 seconds.

It’s a neat experience if you’re a man with a female date. The dancer’s treat you very differently and bend over backwards to make your woman feel comfortable and wanted there. Great fun!

My friends bought me a dance from a male dancer, in a private booth… once in there, the guy told me they’d paid for a blowjob as well. I kept my dick in my drawers and we chatted for a few minutes instead. Who the fuck wants paid sex, ick

I mean, the thing is, is that if your ok with that, you do you, but for me, sex isn’t like somthing i do so casually with anyone like that. There’s of course that thing where “men” are supposed to enjoy it, but for me, i had a feeling inside that this was wrong and not the way i enjoy doing things. I mean there was nothing wrong with the stripper she was a nice and i went for a smoke we chatted, but im kinda more like “can i buy you a drink and lets talk” kinda person not “netflix and chill” type of person.

I wonder if they were underage? They say women if they’re over 9 years old in those crowds.

Disgraced former prince Andrew once had 40 prostitutes brought to his five-star hotel over four days during a taxpayer-funded trip to Thailand, his biographer has claimed.

Andrew engaged with the women over a four-day stretch, royal historian and author Andrew Lownie alleged, according to a report in the New York Post and other media outlets.

Very highly likely that at least one of these encounters involved children. Andrew is a sweaty, greasy nonce and needs to be locked up in a commoners prison where he belongs.

Given that none of the allegations against him involved the underaged that would be a stretch. And given his new financial reality, libel cases may be an attractive source of income.

The Epstein island orgy accusations involve the underaged, as some participants were 17 and the age of consent was 18 there.

Giuffre herself was 18 at the time, and her statement was that the others “seemed” to be underaged (but she didn’t know if they were). The allegation hasn’t been tested in court.

Indeed, untested in court, but the allegation is there, contradicting your posts earlier. That’s all.

Also, Giuffre’s statements on her age at the orgy differ, but the pilot’s notes put it in early July, before her 18th birthday.
